Amsterdam

Four artists who live and work in Amsterdam are commissioned to create a new work on or in the facade of their own house. The facade is used as a layered and meaningfull space and at the same time a sharp line between two worlds, the inner world and the outer world. In a number of places in the city, where more people now meet outside, this creates richly varied reflections on the public space and privacy, inside and outside. The interaction is something that everyone has to deal with. We live in a time when bounderies have become more diffuse due to current affairs and the advent of smart devices in the home and data collection. The four works of art become temporary beacons of new places to meet, hang-outs.
